Quick Creamy Carbonara

(serves 2)

Just add:

180ml hot water

5g olive oil

We do the rest. 

Method:

  1. Heat half a small saucepan of water until it comes to a boil.
  2. Cook the pasta for approx. 10 minutes and then strain. 
  3. Meanwhile, empty the “in a bag” ingredients and “just add” ingredients into a high speed blender and blitz until thick and creamy.
  4. Pour the sauce into the cooked pasta, add fresh herbs and cracker pepper before serving.

      A few months ago I found out I have allergies which now makes good food choices really difficult, and often bland and boring. I decided to try Raw Bulk Foods’ gluten free vegan cabonara - and ‘wow’! Not only is it quick to make, but absolutely delicious. This is supposed to be a meal for four, but my youngest child and I found it so tasty that we just kept eating!!! Amazing to be able to enjoy a scrumptious meal that was also completely fine for my food allergies (no bad after effects).
