The Story so far…
Our founder's journey began with a heartfelt desire to transform grocery shopping for every Aussie, bidding farewell to toxic food chemicals & single-use plastic. But as she delved into the challenge, she encountered countless dead ends. Some packaging failed to preserve freshness, while others resulted in, well, garlic-flavored cereal (yuck!). It was a true struggle.
Then, a moment of pure brilliance, we have to take our grocery shops to a circular economy and keep our packaging in use for longer. Instead of reinventing the wheel, why not repurpose the plastic mess already out there? It was a groundbreaking idea it then took her over 2 years to get even close to a finished solution. With that vision in mind, she took a leap of faith and launched a Kickstarter campaign in Feb 2022.
The response was overwhelming. People from all over Aus got behind her eco-friendly mission, propelling RBF into existence. They became the champions in the fight against grocery shop that's currently underpinned by hidden chemicals & plastic waste.
Today, they're not just fighting plastic waste we are bringing education & awareness to the current state to create a better future state. We invite you to join us in this remarkable journey, as together, we strive to make our world cleaner and brighter.

Our passion lies in reducing carbon emissions across every aspect of our business. We take pride in sourcing 100% of our food in Australia, with over 90% of it grown right here. Unlike the average food basket from the major supermarkets, which travels an astonishing 70,000 ks around the world before it reaches your plate. Sourcing local tastes better and does better.
