I like to think of myself as the backbone of your pantry! 

A light nutty flavour and aroma, this rice has a slightly softer texture than brown rice.  We love medium grain white rice as it's fast cooking, great on them nights time has run away.

In a small saucepan, combine the rinsed rice, 1 1/3 cups water, and salt to taste; bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer until the water is absorbed, about 20 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat and let stand, covered, for 10 minutes. Fluff with a fork and serve.
