Plastic busting, flavour bursting pasta!

Everyone loves a penne pasta dish, especially when the pasta is free of any nasties. We love this pasta as it's quick to cook and compliments virtually every sauce (chunky sauces are delicious).

Bring 1 litre of water per 100 grams of this pasta to a rapid boil. Add pasta and stir gently to ensure it separates, continuing to stir occasionally. Cook for 6 -10 minutes or until al dente – taking care not to overcook. Drain and serve with your favourite sauce. The subtle, earthy flavour of this pasta is delicious with fungi, pesto, Mediterranean vegetables with roasted tomatoes and herbs or a traditional bolognese.

You might think that this penne seems expensive compared to the packs in the supermarket- but you are not making a true comparison. This penne packs a punch- it is much more filling and robust than regular packet penne. I find we don't need as much for each serving, and the best part is that it tastes really good.
